About the role

The company is on an exciting trajectory, experiencing significant market penetration and potential for exponential growth. In order to write the next chapter in our story, we are looking for a Chief Commercial Officer (“CCO”) to take ownership of conversion in the commercial side of our business; selling, marketing and delivering our products to real estate actors throughout Norway and soon (12-16 months) internationally, with a preliminary Nordic focus. 

The Commercial side of our company consists of Sales, Account and Customer Success teams. The CCO will help build these teams, and drive the monetization of Plyo technology. The CCO will be in charge of building the commercialization infrastructure needed, including structuring and growing the organization to drive market adoption of the company’s products and ensure maximized revenue growth within the existing customer base. 

You will take ownership of the entire customer journey; from lead to upsale. Your focus will be to develop and optimise the interface between customer and product/service offering, ensuring that all functions of the organization are aligned to meet our declared strategic macro objectives. Examples of focus areas include increasing conversions of inbound and outbound sales, onboarding efficacy, minimising deal time-to-close and limiting churn.


  • Manage monetization efforts in the company
  • Drive sales and customer satisfaction
  • Establish a data driven decision making process for enhancing sales and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure alignment between sales and other company targets
  • Deciding and implementing OKRs for the Commercial Team
  • Deciding and implementing KPIs for the  Commercial Team
  • Leading and motivating the  Commercial Team in pursuit of the company’s overall business goals
  • Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities

  • Excellent problem solving skills and understanding of data driven decision making
  • Structured and ability to execute
  • Social skills
  • Thorough understanding of software development 


  • Higher education in sales/marketing/business management or similar
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Rockstar presentation skills
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a commercial role
  • Must have had team lead responsibilities
  • Proficiency with budgeting, forecasting and goal-setting
  • Proficiency with software tools related to the above
